Ready to Talk Through Your Situation?
A first conversation costs nothing except a little of your time. We will listen carefully and let you know where things stand.
Things People Often Ask
What happens during the first consultation?
The first meeting is a private conversation. We ask about your situation, listen carefully, and then walk you through the relevant aspects of Thai family law in plain terms. By the end, you will have a written summary and a clear sense of your options — with no obligation to proceed further.
How long does a family law matter typically take?
It depends on the nature of the matter. A consultation can be completed in a single meeting. Cooperative resolution may take several weeks to reach a signed agreement. Formal proceedings can extend over several months depending on court schedules and the complexity of the issues. We will give you an honest estimate early on.
Are consultations completely confidential?
Yes. Attorney-client privilege applies from your first contact with us. Nothing you share is disclosed without your consent, except in the narrow circumstances required by Thai law. We take your privacy seriously at every stage.
What are the fees and how are they structured?
Our fee structure is straightforward. A Family Matter Consultation is ฿4,600. Cooperative Resolution Support is ฿9,300. Full Family Proceedings Support starts at ฿17,800. More complex matters may involve additional disbursements, which we will outline transparently before any work begins.
Can you help if my spouse and I both want to resolve things calmly?
Cooperative resolution is well suited to situations where both parties prefer to avoid conflict. We help prepare for mediation, clarify what a fair arrangement might look like, and assist with drafting an agreement that reflects what both sides have agreed. We do not represent both parties at once, but we can help one party approach the process constructively.
Do I need to attend court if my matter goes to proceedings?
In most formal family proceedings in Thailand, personal attendance is required at key hearings. We prepare you thoroughly for each appearance, explain what to expect, and stand with you throughout. Where attendance can be handled through representation, we will advise you of those possibilities.
