Krua Chambers opened its doors in Chiang Mai after years of observing how families navigating separation and parenting disputes were often left confused by the legal system — not because the law was unclear, but because those explaining it were not taking enough care to be understood. Our founding partners felt that a different kind of practice was possible: one built around listening, explaining, and walking alongside people rather than simply processing their cases.
The name "Krua" reflects exactly that ambition. In Thai, krua speaks to the family hearth — the place where people gather, feel safe, and belong. We wanted our practice to carry that warmth into spaces where it is often absent. That means quieter waiting rooms, conversations that are never rushed, written summaries after every meeting, and phone calls that are returned the same day wherever possible.
Over the years, we have supported families across a wide range of circumstances — straightforward consultations for people who simply needed to understand their position, cooperative arrangements between parties who wanted to avoid a court process, and full proceedings where matters required formal resolution.
